Privacy Policy
TexPro Insurance is an independent insurance agency based in Houston, Texas, licensed in Texas only, serving clients across the state with property and casualty coverage.
Who we are
This notice is provided by BRIS LLC DBA TexPro Insurance ("TexPro," "we," "us"), a Texas independent insurance agency, Texas agency license #2797240. Principal office: 2100 W Loop S, Floor 8, Houston, TX 77027. Phone (346) 547-7203 · Email [email protected]. We are licensed in Texas only and offer property and casualty insurance products and services for personal, family, household and business purposes.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share and protect nonpublic personal information ("NPI") in connection with insurance products and services, and how we handle information collected on this website. It is intended to serve as our consumer privacy notice under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Regulation P (12 CFR Part 1016) as applicable, Texas Insurance Code Chapters 601 and 602, and 28 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 22.
Information we collect
We may collect NPI about you from:
- You, when you request a quote, apply for insurance, call or email us, fill out forms, or use our website (for example name, address, phone, email, date of birth, driver’s license information, vehicle and property details, business description and payroll, prior insurance and claims history, and payment-related information).
- Your transactions with us, with insurance companies we are appointed with, and with our service providers.
- Other sources permitted by law, such as consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle records, insurance-support organizations and industry databases.
- Your use of this website, such as device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and cookie or similar technology data (see “Cookies and website analytics”).
We collect this information to quote and place coverage, service policies, communicate with you, meet legal and regulatory duties, and operate our agency.
How we use and share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We use and disclose NPI as needed to provide insurance products and services, including sharing with insurance companies and underwriters to obtain quotes and to place, underwrite, service, renew or cancel coverage; with claims administrators and adjusters; with service providers that support our operations (for example form hosting, email, phone and text messaging, document storage and IT); with consumer reporting and insurance-support organizations as permitted by law; and with regulators, courts or others when required or allowed by law (for example fraud reporting or responding to a lawful request).
As an independent agency, we may share your information with multiple insurance companies in order to shop coverage options for you. Under Texas Department of Insurance guidance on 28 TAC Chapter 22, when an independent agent shares NPI with insurers for quoting, each insurer is responsible for its own privacy notices for that relationship.
We do not disclose NPI about our customers or former customers to nonaffiliated third parties for those parties’ own marketing, except as permitted by law or with your consent. If our practices change so that we would disclose NPI to nonaffiliated third parties outside the exceptions in 28 TAC §§22.18 and 22.19, we will provide any required notice and a reasonable opportunity to opt out before making that disclosure.
Your privacy choices and notices
If you become our customer (for example you obtain insurance through TexPro), we will provide an initial privacy notice no later than when that customer relationship is established, and an annual privacy notice while the relationship continues, as required by 28 TAC §§22.8 and 22.9, unless a simplified notice or exception applies. We will provide a revised notice if our privacy practices change in a way that requires it under 28 TAC §22.12.
To ask about this notice, update your information, or exercise an opt-out right that applies to you, contact us at (346) 547-7203, [email protected], or 2100 W Loop S, Floor 8, Houston, TX 77027.
How we protect information
We restrict access to NPI to people who need it to serve you or to run our agency. We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality and integrity of customer information, consistent with the FTC Standards for Safeguarding Customer Information (16 CFR Part 314) and applicable Texas requirements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk and to respond appropriately if an incident occurs.
Data breach notification
If a breach of system security involving sensitive personal information occurs, we will notify affected individuals and, when required, the Texas Attorney General, as provided by Texas Business & Commerce Code §521.053 (including notice to the Attorney General within 30 days when the breach involves at least 250 Texas residents).
Texas Data Privacy and Security Act
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 541) does not apply to a financial institution or to data subject to Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (15 U.S.C. §6801 et seq.). See Bus. & Com. Code §541.002(b)(2). As a licensed insurance agency handling NPI under GLBA and Texas Insurance Code Chapter 601 / 28 TAC Chapter 22, TexPro relies on that exemption for covered financial data. This Privacy Policy is our GLBA / Texas insurance privacy notice rather than a TDPSA consumer-rights notice.

This website may use cookies or similar technologies that are needed for the site to function (for example session or preference cookies). We do not use Meta Pixel or other advertising pixels on this website.
If we enable a website analytics tool (for example Google Analytics), we will name it in our cookie banner and update this section. Do Not Track: Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to those signals. We do not currently change our practices in response to Do Not Track signals.
If we send commercial email, we intend to comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, including accurate header and subject information, identification as an advertisement when required, a physical postal address, and a working unsubscribe method. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Transactional or relationship messages about your quote or policy may still be sent as allowed by law.
Calls and texts
If you give us consent, we may contact you by phone or text as described at the time of consent, consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and related rules. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or call (346) 547-7203.
Text Messaging (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we collect your mobile number and your texting consent only to send you insurance service messages, such as quote follow-up, policy service, renewal and payment reminders, document notices, and replies to your questions. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent data are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.
Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
